The Wolf Pack.
Who followed my travel stories? If you did there is gist for you. I met a guy.
The pool party was over, in the hype man's voice ‘let’s take it to the club’ ooshey! Let's get freaky! I’ve not danced in a while, today I will dance away.
Lady T and I went back into the room to rest a bit and then change into something befitting. We were also hungry so we ordered food, you don't go drinking on an empty stomach.
The club area was moderate with colourful furniture, the lights beamed intermittently, the deafening music hit me hard. A not so subtle reminder of why I don’t go to clubs anymore.
DJ Alhaji Wolf deserves a trophy, he kept the place alive with back to back hits, you know the heart is merrier with some liquor, almost everybody were doing some serious leg work, even the ladies, I was worried for them, the dance looked too aggressive, Is your womb not paining you? I refuse to be tensioned.
So I stepped out to catch my breathe by wandering abit, some minutes into my walk I saw a wolf pack! A group of 5 men approached me. I greeted them. ‘Good evening ‘ they all replied cheerfully, so I kept waking and they decided to follow me.
One of them ( I guess he's the Alpha male) said to the rest in Yoruba ‘A man who beholds a beauty must go after her” I pretended not to have heard, me beauty? Ok. He followed, walked fast past me and stood in my front obstructing me, the rest of the pack surrounded me.
To be continued...
